Covid-19 Total Cases in India: Corona infection is once again spreading rapidly in the country. According to sources, till December 28, a total of 145 cases of Corona’s new variant JN.1 have been reported. It is being told that these samples were taken between 21 November and 18 December 2023. In view of the increasing cases of Covid-19, the health department is also on alert mode and people are being advised to stay away from crowds.
At the same time, the Health Ministry said on Friday that 797 new cases of corona have been registered in India in the last 24 hours, which is the highest in 225 days. Earlier on May 19, 865 new cases of Corona were found in the country. At present the number of active cases of Corona in the country is 4,091. According to the data updated by the Health Ministry at 8 am on Friday, there have been five new deaths due to Covid in 24 hours. Of these, two are from Kerala and one each from Maharashtra, Puducherry and Tamil Nadu.
What are the symptoms of JN.1?
According to the CDC, patients suffering from this variant may have fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle pain, headache, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion, runny nose. Symptoms like nausea, vomiting and diarrhea appear. However, in many cases the symptoms depend on the immunity of the patient.
Symptoms visible even after recovery
In the new variant, it is being seen that the symptoms persist even after the patient suffering from it recovers. These include headache, fatigue, shortness of breath etc. Doctors say that these symptoms can last for at least 4 to 6 weeks after recovery.
